Abstract:
Steve is a primary developer of personalized philanthropy - "the right gift, for the right purpose, for the right donor" - innovative donor-centered giving strategies that combine current and future gifts so that donors can create a lasting legacy that begins now.
Steve joined the American Committee for the Weizmann Institute of Science in 1995 and now serves as Vice President of its new Center for Personalized Philanthropy, as well as a member of its management team and total financial resource development strategy group. He holds a Masters Degree in Organization and Management from Antioch University and a Ph.D. from the University of Buffalo.

Abstract:
Scott Janney is the Executive Director of Planned Giving at Villanova University, where he leads a team of three gift planning specialists who facilitate the raising of complex gifts by the 75-member University Advancement team. He has always loved teaching and was inspired while writing his doctoral dissertation, "The College President and Fund Raising Effectiveness," to help charitable organizations and those who support them develop the most useful fundraising vehicles and practices. He specializes in painting simple word pictures that make complicated concepts easier to understand.
Scott has served as the Director of Planned Giving at Main Line Health and St. Mary Medical Center and the Assistant Director of Planned Giving at Temple University. He is also the Senior Consultant with PlannedGiving.Com. Scott is a co-founder and presenter of Planned Giving Boot Camp and The Planned Giving Course, and was the chair of Philadelphia’s Planned Giving Day for three years. He is a highly effective communicator and sought-after speaker at the National Conference on Philanthropic Planning, Gift Planning Councils, AFP Chapters, and Investment Firms as well as the author of numerous articles including, “All Annuitants are Women, and They Lie about Their Age.” Scott earned his Ed. D. in educational administration from Temple University, a master of divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary, and an undergraduate degree from Asbury University. He is a Certified Fund Raising Executive and Registered Financial Consultant. Scott serves on the board of directors of the Partnership for Philanthropic Planning and is a member of the Partnership for Philanthropic Planning of Greater Philadelphia.

Abstract: Mr. Seaverson became a
senior investment planning analyst in 2006, working
closely with the firm’s financial advisors to assist
high-net-worth private clients with their wealth
planning and asset allocation decisions. He
relocated to the Tampa office in 2008 to support the
analytical efforts in the southeast region. In 2009,
Mr. Seaverson was promoted to Specialist in the
Wealth Management Group.
